The SCM sales team has returned to the company’s Rimini headquarters for a special occasion: the launch of the new Morbidelli X50 and X100 nesting CNC machining centres, alongside upgrades to the Accord 500/600 range, designed for the furniture industry.
On September 11 and 12, both Italian and international sales teams had the opportunity to witness these advanced models in action at SCM’s Technology Centre, where they were introduced to the machines’ cutting-edge features. These new nesting solutions have already been met with great enthusiasm, following their North American debut at the Tuluth SCM Subsidiary and the IWF show in Atlanta. SCM has reported strong interest from customers, with orders and negotiations already underway.
Bruno Di Napoli, Business Unit Manager for SCM’s CNC machining centres and drilling solutions, stated that the Morbidelli X50/X100 project builds on the success of the Morbidelli X200/X400 models, which were introduced five years ago. “The ‘neXting generation’ has now been further expanded with this ‘double eXpansion,’ providing customers with an even wider selection of machines to suit their specific needs, regardless of their investment capacity,” he remarked.
SCM remains deeply committed to the furniture industry, with innovation and quality at the core of its operations. Over the next two days, customers will have the opportunity to attend live presentations and demonstrations of the new Morbidelli X series and the upgraded Accord range.
The company’s production facilities in Italy, which are organised around the principles of lean management and operational excellence, will be open for guided tours, offering visitors an insight into SCM’s advanced manufacturing processes. Additionally, SCM’s Technology Centres, located both in Italy and worldwide, are always open to customers for demonstrations, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations.
With its global network of branch offices, SCM continues to offer customers the most extensive distribution network in the industry, ensuring that their sales and technical teams are always available to support customer needs.
