After the success of the 2024 editions, which showcased some flexible industrial edgebanding solutions chosen by leading global customers, SCM is back with a new event entirely focused on “batch one” production and the future of the industry.
On November 27 and 28, at SCM’s Thiene (VI) premises, the “Batch One Days” will take place: an exclusive event dedicated to the latest scenarios in “batch one” edgebanding of panels and doors. A unique opportunity to preview next-generation solutions developed for top players in the woodworking sector, all sharing the same goal: maximizing quality, reliability, efficiency, and customisation, even in the most demanding production contexts.
“The solutions we will present, together with those unveiled last year, demonstrate how SCM is further strengthening its focus on ‘batch one’ production,” explains Marco Pacini, SCM Business Manager for Edgebanding. “Thanks to the advanced technology of our solutions, targeted R&D investments, and the expertise of our team, SCM confirms itself as the go-to business partner for companies that make high flexibility and production efficiency their main strengths.” Marco added further.
The new edgebanding cells deliver maximum productivity through advanced robotics, automatic buffering, and efficient panel handling systems. The integrated Maestro Active Watch supervisor, combined with the latest WinMES software, provides real-time control over the entire production process. With their cutting-edge technology, these solutions ensure exceptional machining precision and superior quality across all panel types — even the most delicate and complex materials.
In particular, the dedicated door production cell has been enriched with new finishing units for profile changes, scoring units for cutting, trimming units for corner processing, and new sectors for radius profiles. These innovations provide maximum operational flexibility, ensuring the highest efficiency and quality standards both when working with different profile sizes and when machining straight or shaped doors.
The appointment is at SCM’s Thiene premises on November 27-28 to discover first-hand the future of “Batch One” edgebanding.
