Whether it’s automotive or woodworking, Schmalz always offers the right solution for various applications. This time the company has added another feather to its cap by expanding their 31st location in Vietnam.
Vietnam has recorded impressive economic growth in recent years. This upturn and its location in Southeast Asia make the country an attractive destination for investment. With its new representative office in Vietnam, Schmalz offers its customers in the region short distances to the right automation.
Vacuum expert Schmalz is to establish its 31st location worldwide in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. “Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing economies in the Asian region. Numerous companies are setting up new factories there in order to expand their activities and their network in Asia,” says Dr. Kurt Schmalz, Managing Partner of Schmalz. “The country offers access to a broad customer base in the Southeast Asia region. With the new location, we can support our customers directly on site with our automation solutions.” Dr. Kurt added further.
With the new representative office, Schmalz will distribute its complete Schmalz product portfolio, both vacuum technology for automation and handling, in Southeast Asia. “For Schmalz, the entire region is of great strategic importance for the future. We are therefore pleased to take this fact into account by establishing our own location,” emphasizes Dr. Kurt concluded.
There are more than 30 locations that have been already reached by the company. Now, they are looking for some major business oriented countries especially in South-East Asia. Schmalz is happy to expand their locations worldwide as they are continuously witnessing success over their business. The combination of comprehensive consulting, high innovation orientation and first-class quality ensures customers sustainable added value. Intelligent solutions from Schmalz make production processes more flexible and efficient – and at the same time fit for the advancing digitalisation.
