Schattdecor to present new decors at SICAM 2018

 Monday, September 17, 2018

schattdecor“come & see” – SICAM 2018: From October 16 to 19, Pordenone will once again be wishing visitors from more than 130 countries “Benvenuti in Sicam 2018” – a leading international trade fair for Italian suppliers. This year, the Schattdecor world is appearing at the fair once again, presenting its new decors, international trends, and product range to a wide audience at stand A30 / A34 in Hall 6 under the motto: “One Source. Unlimited Solutions.”

Experiencing decors and products first-hand
“Visitors to our stand will experience directly how trends are being shaped by multidimensional lifestyles, changing living concepts, and the blending of leisure time and work. The world is changing rapidly, and we must develop with it. New lifestyles are influencing the form and function of the spaces in which we live and work,” says Claudia Küchen, Head of Design, Marketing, and Communications.

Solutions for furniture and flooring, classic and innovative surfaces from the areas of Finished and Impregnated Surfaces, and surfaces with a 3D effect – visitors to the trade fair will gain insight into Schattdecor’s entire product portfolio and the trends of the future! In addition, the company will present its new decor products along with emerging trends from Italy’s design industry: “At Sicam, we particularly want to reach customers from Central Europe with our design recommendations and provide them with timely support at the start of their product development process. With the displays and samples in our stand, we’ll not only provide trade fair visitors with inspiration, but also offer them assurance when it comes to choosing the furniture or flooring decors of tomorrow,” says Klaus Müller, Head of Surface Sales.

In addition to Interzum, Sicam is and will remain one of the most important trade fairs for Schattdecor in terms of reaching product developers from the furniture and wood products industry at the right point in time, before they begin implementing new flooring and furniture.

Decor highlights at the trade fair
Customer feedback and reactions from visitors at trade fairs – most recently IWF in Atlanta – have highlighted decors that received an especially positive response, and these will also be featured at Sicam.

With Ventura Chestnut, the surface specialist will present a high-quality, universal furniture decor that fulfills the desire for natural decor textures with a wide range of applications. Also in the spotlight is the Neapolisdecor, a classic oak texture in combination with built-in tiles and graphical elements that is suitable both as allover flooring and for use on furniture surfaces in settings that call for a more rustic atmosphere. In addition, imitation stone will play a prominent role – a trend that Schattdecor’s design team picked up back at the Milan Furniture Fair and has been tracking since. The company is interpreting the style exhibited in Milan with its Mercurio decor, returning to a design revolving around dark stones with white veins. In this context, Schattdecor sees stone not only as a feature of kitchen countertops, but it is also appealing for other areas and works well with wood. Jackson Hickory – a furniture decor that represents a new generation of natural and modern surfaces – is and will remain a long-running hit at Schattdecor’s trade fair appearances and continues to attract international attention. That is reason enough to present this multifaceted decor at Sicam and place it center stage. Markus Höhn, Head of Printed Surface Sales, adds: “It’s important for us to present innovative decor ideas that allow us to tap into new market segments and respond to customer requirements individually. Our mission is to identify and adopt current trends in a targeted manner and to interpret these in the form of modern designs and technical solutions. We meet requirements before they even emerge, offering an all-round package: One Source. Unlimited solutions.”

Where is the world of decor heading?
Visitors will find answers to this question at the surface specialist’s stand (A30 / A34 in Hall 6), where a number of employees will be on hand for face-to-face discussions and to advise on design trends and colors.
