Schattdecor has declared their new investment in the modern machinery for finish foils in Tarnowo Podgórne, Poland. This investment is the clear reflection of getting perfect surfaces that come with the state-of-the-art technology.
The new PMDL55 printing and coating machine was officially inaugurated at Schattdecor in Tarnowo Podgórne at the beginning of April. Thanks to the new machine and the PML12 installed two years ago, Schattdecor in Poland now has the world’s most modern machinery to produce finish foils.
Both machines are designed for innovative ESH lacquering using formaldehyde-free, radiation-curing lacquers. The two machines, PMDL55 and PML12, will enable the site to further increase its efficiency, product quality, and competitiveness. Schattdecor Tarnowo Podgórne’s machinery currently consists of four printing machines and three coating machines. The company’s main product is finish foils, which are produced on both paper and thermoplastic substrates.
Representatives of the Supervisory Board, the Management Board, and the Schatt family took part in the ceremonial commissioning of the PMDL55. Thanks to the investments, Schattdecor Poland is strengthening its position in a highly competitive market.
Sustainability by Schattdecor
“”Sustainability has been a core element of our corporate management since the company was founded in 1985. From the start, we relied exclusively on environmentally-friendly, high-tech products made from natural materials, such as water, casein and organic pigments, to produce our décor paper. We have always remained true to ourselves.” – Executive Board of Schattdecor SE.
“We regularly find new ways to be economical with materials and implement creative ideas to protect our environment. In addition to the ecological side, we are also very focused on social and economic aspects. That is why we have developed a sustainability concept and set ambitious goals for ourselves over the upcoming years, which we aim to achieve together with our employees and business partners. It is the best way to make a sustainable commitment work for an international industrial company.”
