The Schattdecor Group‘s preliminary total sales for the 2024 fiscal year are approximately 875 million euros, which is little less than the amount from the year prior keeping the production quantities unchanged at 1.4 billion square meters for printing and 770 million square meters for completed surfaces, with the latter slightly increasing.
According to the words of Dr. Derick Beitel, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson of the Board of Management, “The year 2024 was once again marked by considerable challenges.” He added further, “We are in a time of heightened uncertainty – economic indicators are subdued; geopolitical tensions are on the rise. Despite these difficult conditions, we remain optimistic.” The company’s plant in Glucholazy, Poland, flooded in 2024, presented an obstacle. They were able to restore full delivery capabilities and fix the damage in no time.
The Group’s ability to persevere in its expansion and investment has made it impossible to stop. The Group continues to focus on growth and investment. For the current financial year, more than 40 million euros are earmarked for the expansion of production capacities, innovative technologies, and the planned expansion of the international infrastructure. Particular attention will be paid to the areas of IT/digitalisation, machinery, infrastructure, and in-house energy production. Beitel continued, “We want to grow sustainably and profitably. To achieve this, we are making targeted investments in new capabilities, innovative products, and promising markets”. One focus remains in the further development of thermoplastic surfaces, which form an important part of the product portfolio.
