Rotpunkt Küchen achieves €103.7 Million in sales for 2025, boosted by export growth and strategic investments

Rotpunkt Küchen, a leading kitchen furniture manufacturer based in Bünde, Westphalia, concluded 2025 with a remarkable sales increase of 6.25%, achieving a record €103.7 million in revenue. Despite facing challenges such as reduced consumer spending, weak new construction activity, and broader international uncertainties, the company’s performance highlights its strong market position and strategic growth.

The growth was primarily driven by higher average values per kitchen order, which far exceeded the moderate price increases implemented during the year. As a result, Rotpunkt Küchen also saw a 2.3% increase in sales volume. All sales figures include kitchen furniture, utility room furnishings, wardrobes, and bathroom products. The kitchen business remains the key revenue driver, supporting the company’s “more than kitchens” strategy.

Growth in Key Markets

A closer look at the individual markets reveals a generally positive trend. Domestically, Rotpunkt Küchen experienced growth, while the company faced a slightly mixed situation in export markets. The export ratio remained stable at 80%, with the Netherlands continuing to be the most significant foreign market for the company. Sven Herden, Managing Director of Sales & Marketing, reported substantial growth in the Dutch market.

In France, the company’s performance matched the previous year’s results, with expectations for higher sales in the future. Herden noted that the sales partner in France was experiencing a “significantly increased order intake.” In the UK, slight growth was recorded, and further improvements are anticipated. Rotpunkt Küchen also saw solid growth in Scandinavia, particularly in Denmark. Meanwhile, the Austrian market has regained momentum after a temporary slowdown, with growth potential on the horizon.

Middle East Expansion

In addition to its core European markets, Rotpunkt Küchen is strengthening its presence in the Middle East. The company is focusing on building long-term partnerships in this region, which has led to significant expansion in project business. Collaboration with local partners has become increasingly important, and several projects are underway, making the Middle East a growing revenue driver.

Rotpunkt Küchen also maintains relationships with partners in China, where the kitchen market has yet to show signs of full recovery. Nevertheless, the company remains committed to nurturing international ties as part of its broader market strategy.

Modernisation and Investments

For the past two years, Rotpunkt Küchen has been undergoing a substantial modernisation process, investing heavily in its future capabilities. The company has invested approximately €50 million in a new logistics hub, machinery, and the digitalisation of all business areas at its Bünde location. These investments are designed to improve operational efficiency, strengthen the company’s market position, and enable specialist retailers to offer customer-oriented solutions.

The company has faced unique challenges in daily operations during this period of change. However, Andreas Wagner, Managing Partner, expressed gratitude to the dedicated team at Rotpunkt Küchen for their support in driving these transformations. “We extend our sincere thanks to the people at Rotpunkt Küchen who support and actively shape these changes every day, and to our customers who have partnered with us on this journey,” Wagner emphasised.

As of the end of 2025, the company employed 374 people across its two locations, compared to 368 the previous year. Of these, 300 employees work at the Bünde-Ahle location, while 74 are based in Preußisch-Oldendorf.

Outlook for 2026

Looking ahead to 2026, Rotpunkt Küchen expects the market conditions to remain challenging in most of its core markets. Sven Herden, Sales Director, acknowledged that the market environment may continue to be tough. However, he emphasised that the company would not use these challenges as a reason for stagnation. “Market conditions have never been a bed of roses,” he remarked.

Herden further noted that the company would focus on leveraging its strengths, including product variety and differentiation potential, alongside its retail partners, to shape continued success. He sees the most dynamic growth potential in export markets, while also maintaining investments in the domestic market, which has seen increasing revenue and importance over the years.

The company’s revenue target for 2026 is set at €110 million, plus X. Rotpunkt Küchen’s management team remains confident in its strategy, combining investment in new markets, product differentiation, and strong customer relationships to drive future growth.

Rotpunkt Küchen’s performance in 2025 demonstrates the company’s resilience and strategic vision. Despite external challenges, the company recorded impressive growth, largely driven by its strong export performance and continued investment in its infrastructure. With a clear focus on innovation and international expansion, Rotpunkt Küchen is well-positioned for sustained success in 2026 and beyond.
