The first Raute Green Veneer Composing Line R7 is now sold to Tolko Industries Ltd. in Heffley Creek Canada. This new-generation Green Veneer Composing Line R7 tapes together green random veneers to make half or full veneer sheets.
The camera analyzer maximizes green veneer recovery and the strong taped veneer joints don’t break during the drying process. This Green Veneer Composing Solution was the right fit for Tolko to modify their manufacturing process.
The line will be installed and running in the Summer of 2022.
Raute is focused on creating value in forest assets. We believe in a future where resource-efficient and optimally connected production enables a smarter use of wood. A future where veneer, plywood and LVL are the key materials in building, furniture and packaging, among other applications.
Features:
Raute Green Veneer Composing Line R7 allows the user to automatically collect clipped randoms after peeling and compose them into full sheets before drying. This maximizes the utilization of raw material and improves veneer recovery up to 4%.
Unique Raute Thermobond glue tape on both sides of composed veneer sheets creates strong joints and ensures the joints don’t break during drying. Because of the strong tape joint, green composed veneer can also be utilized in scarf-jointing.
Select from a range of veneer feeding options for full sheets and randoms to suit your requirements. The line’s visual analyzers ensure a maximum amount of quality veneer remains after defect detection and clipping.
Get flexibility into your production by performing both dry and wet veneer composing in one line with our combined green veneer composer, designed to provide flexibility especially for smaller production requirements.
