Premier Tech has recently introduced its brand-new BPE Series Wood Fibre Machine in response to the rising demand for wood fibre to supplement soil mixes.
On-site manufacture of wood fibre is possible thanks to this equipment’s compact size, durability, and energy efficiency. The patented method produces heat above 100C by applying high pressure to the raw materials, producing fibre that complies with RHP standards, and sanitising it.
With a production capacity of up to 12 m3 /h (16 yd3 /h) and an expansion ratio of up to 1:3 *, it consumes 30% less energy per cubic metre produced than typical refiners, resulting in significant cost savings. Various wood by-products, including white soft wood chips, forest residue, and compost wood, can be used. The produced fibre maintains its volume when mixed and has excellent water dispersion capacity for root development.
