On June 29th, 2022, Nestro celebrated a round anniversary! Exactly 30 years ago, Paulus Nettelnstroth broke ground for the new company premises in Hainchen: “The first 5,000 m² of hall space was completed in record time by December 19, 1992 (the keys were handed over on my 44th birthday).” Incidentally, the company founder of Nestro had already founded a new company in Thuringia on May 22, 1990 – i.e. before the state reunification of Germany – for the purpose of settling in the former GDR. All of this can be read in the anniversary brochure (in German) from 2007.

Paulus and Robert Nettelnstroth celebrated this anniversary together with all employees at a small anniversary celebration with plenty of food and drink. The brass band “Schkölener Musikanten” provided the musical background. On behalf of the workforce, Purchasing Manager Uwe Mai (centre) handed over a 30-year-old lime tree to company founder Paulus Nettelnstroth (on the right).

This tree is considered a symbol of justice, love, peace and homeland, as well as a place of community. It was planted right in front of the company headquarters the very next day and carries the sign shown. CEO Robert Nettelnstroth was just as happy about this great recognition as his father.

Nestro ranks among the largest three system specialists for the extraction and filter technology in Europe. More than 260 employees work at Schkölen headquarters, at the technology centre in Röllbach (both in Germany), in the three European manufacturing sites as well as in the most important international markets in order to ensure the sustainable growth of the group. Identifying with the product and the 40 years of experience in the extraction and filtering systems have resulted in an outstandingly high system endurance for daily use. All products are characterised by reliability, safety, efficient use of energy, reduced cost savings, integrative capacity, modularity and options for system integration and conservation of resources.
