With a vision to help customers perform better, Microtec’s FinScan mission includes adaptation of ways of making sawmills more profitable, by making use of latest scanning technology and AI-boosted software solutions. FinScan now sells, installs and maintains Microtec’s scanning solutions in Finland and Eastern Europe “We have joined forces in order to provide at best the Eastern European market with high-quality scanning and software solutions,” says Frank Jöst, CEO of Microtec. “Together with the Finnish FinScan, we can further implement and boost joint R&D and sales activities towards better solutions for the sawmilling industry in Finland and Eastern Europe,” states the CEO of Microtec further.
FinScan will sell, install and maintain Microtec products in Finland, Russia, the Baltics, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. With this cooperation it is now possible to make Microtec‘s log scanners better available to European sawmills.
