On June 8, 2024, at 4:30 p.m., Martco LLC successfully produced the first board on its new multi-opening OSB line from DIEFFENBACHER in Corrigan, Texas. This marks the third plant of its kind that Martco has ordered from the German machinery supplier. The company, headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana, initially commissioned its first DIEFFENBACHER multi-opening OSB line in Oakdale, Louisiana, in 2006, followed by a second line in April 2018 at the same Corrigan site where the latest line is now operational.
The new line features advanced technology, including a 4-head forming station, a CombiLine that transforms continuous forming into discontinuous mat preparation without raw material loss, and an 8 x 24 feet, 16-opening press. DIEFFENBACHER also provided the line’s electrics, automation, and an Intelligent Air Management System. This system enhances the production hall’s climate by capturing concentrated and diffuse emission sources and controlling the infeed and outfeed air streams, ensuring excellent air quality and a healthy working environment for staff.

The first board on the new plant in Corrigan is a wonderful conclusion to our anniversary celebrations and simultaneously the starting point for many more years that we will walk side by side.”
