Linum Europe establishes their another breathtaking project in Kortrijk

Linum Europe is part of Linum Group, an international supplier of installation materials for refrigeration, catering, mass catering and HVAC systems. This Belgian company collaborated with V2 Architects for the design of a new office building with a centralised storage warehouse in Kuurne, near Kortrijk. They have established some extraordinary walls with the help of Decospan.

The interior of this new building stands out with its industrial style. Yet there is also room for original materials and finishes that break through the austere style.

Decoration of a huge office space

With an office area of 3000 square metres, there was also a lot of work to be done in terms of interior design. Linum Europe called on interior architect Willem Benoit, of Studio Benoit, for this project. The custom work was provided by De Laere Decor.

Light and space in abundance

The entire project took a considerable amount of time, but the outcome is spectacular. The new office building boasts a sleek, modern style both inside and out. Inside, the extensive use of glass sections and open volumes creates an abundance of light and space. Consequently, the color palette, primarily featuring light gray and black, feels light and airy rather than heavy.

Contrasting walls and ceilings

Additionally, the sleek interior style at Linum is complemented by walls and ceilings finished with veneer slats. For this unique contrasting walls, they have chosen the Astrata Slats from Decospan.

These slats add warmth and a trendy, original touch to the office interior, while also positively impacting the acoustics in the high, open space.
