Kronoevent 2024, hosted in the vibrant city of Barcelona, emerged as a key highlight for the corporate world, attracting over 1,800 participants from more than 70 countries. The prestigious event unveiled Kronospan’s forward-looking vision, featuring its latest innovations, design trends, and the much-anticipated launch of the Kronodesign Trend Collection. The gala evening took place at the historic La Llotja de Mar, a landmark of trade and innovation since the 14th century.
This year’s Kronoevent marked the unveiling of the new Trend Collection, “Designing Reality”. The event featured a compelling corporate presentation by Mr Nikolay Bankov, CEO of South Holding, who shared insights into Kronospan’s achievements, investments, and strategic direction. He underscored the importance of merging creativity with functionality in design. Following this, Mr Mark Bircham, Managing Director of Kronospan’s R&D department in Malta, delivered an inspiring presentation on the creative vision behind the new Trend Collection. He highlighted the collection’s goal of equipping architects and interior designers with tools that resonate with their clients’ lifestyles.
Mr Bircham emphasised Kronospan’s dedication to leading the decorative product industry through innovation and collaboration. “Our talented R&D team, strong partnerships with suppliers, and ongoing investments in advanced machinery and software allow us to create realistic, cutting-edge designs,” he stated. The overarching theme of his presentation centred on continuous product enhancement to meet market demands, achieved through collaborative and innovative efforts.
A significant segment of the event explored the concept of “Designing Reality” through the four themes of the collection—Pause, Blend, Connect, and Evolve—and the newly introduced decor families. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in large-scale compositions and moodboards from the collection within the exposition hall.
The second day commenced with energising presentations, where attendees explored the latest product offerings from Kronospan, Kaindl, SKIN, and FALCO. More than 15 presentations were delivered, highlighting innovations such as new decors in the Kronodesign Colour, Harmony, Contempo, and Standard ranges, alongside additions to the Avant-garde and Worktops collections. The event also introduced new flooring solutions from Krono Original and Rocko, as well as the Black Line and Lightweight panels, which demonstrate Kronospan’s commitment to innovation and comprehensive product availability.
Speakers expressed pride in Kronospan’s ability to serve as a one-stop shop for a wide array of products catering to interior, exterior, and construction needs. Attendees were invited to explore the product range in detail, reinforcing the company’s extensive offerings and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Kronoevent 2024 was not merely a product showcase but a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of design.
