The Forest of Opportunities school campaign opens up opportunities in the forest sector for the 13th time. About 200 schools from all over Finland are involved, and it will reach a total of about 12,500 young people. In the campaign, people working in various companies in the forest sector, school ambassadors and students in the field will visit secondary schools and upper secondary schools to talk about work and study opportunities in the forest sector and to present products made of wood. The aim is to increase awareness of the industry and encourage young people to consider the career options offered by the forest sector.
During the visit, young people get an idea of what the forestry sector is like today. This program includes interesting sectors such as: quiz, professions, training, wages and production.
Students will get to learn how forest plays a significant role in human life, rather it is not just for people, but for ecosystems around the world. Koskisen even offers the quiz section to test individual knowledge.
What are the Forest Professionals?
During the program, Koskisen will help the kids to learn the basic qualification details to be a forest industry personnel along with the detailed salary structure. Interested participants will also get the opportunity to learn the knowledge of forestry job application.
