IPCO showcases advanced steel belt technology and ProRelease System at IndiaWood 2026

IPCO, a global manufacturer of high-performance steel belts, is set to demonstrate its product strength and service capabilities at IndiaWood 2026. The company will exhibit in Hall 5 at Booth K509, where it will present its premium steel press belts, the latest ProRelease release agent system and its precision ScatterPro technology.

The event provides a strategic platform. India’s wood-based panel sector continues to expand. Demand for reliability is rising.

IPCO’s participation will focus not only on equipment performance but also on the comprehensive service network that supports customers across India and neighbouring markets.

Steel Press Belts for Wood-Based Panels

IPCO’s steel press belts are widely deployed in the manufacture of particleboard, medium-density fibreboard, oriented strand board and laminated veneer lumber. These products form the backbone of modern panel manufacturing.

Consistent belt performance is critical. Downtime is costly.

The company will highlight how belt quality and professional servicing directly influence productivity within the wood-based panels segment. Stable pressing conditions must be maintained. Surface consistency is essential. Production interruptions must be minimised.

The belts are engineered for durability and dimensional stability under demanding press conditions. High temperature and pressure environments are accommodated. Long service life is prioritised.

Approximately 10% of press-related operational disruptions in panel plants are linked to belt performance and maintenance factors, according to industry estimates. Preventive servicing is therefore considered essential.

Local Service Backed by Global Expertise

IPCO operates a service centre in Pune, Maharashtra. From this base, installation, maintenance and repair services are delivered to panel producers throughout India. Support is also extended to customers in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Rapid response is emphasised. Technical teams are deployed locally.

The Pune facility is supported by IPCO’s global Press Priority Team, a specialised group of belt engineers capable of assisting customers worldwide. Expertise is shared across regions. Best practice is transferred internationally.

Sascha Porst, Global Segment Manager for wood-based panels at IPCO, stated that unplanned press stoppages can significantly affect plant profitability. A swift and structured response is therefore required when belt-related issues arise.

By integrating premium belt technology with coordinated local and global service capabilities, press availability can be maximised. Output stability is strengthened.

Service interventions are designed to be efficient. Downtime is reduced. Production continuity is safeguarded.

ProRelease System Targets Efficiency Gains

A central feature of IPCO’s presence at IndiaWood 2026 will be the ProRelease system. The technology represents an advancement in the application of release agents to steel press belts.

The system incorporates a specially engineered spray bar. An ultra-fine mist of release agent is generated. Even and homogeneous coverage is achieved across the belt surface.

Controlled dosing is delivered precisely. Over-application is avoided.

Uniform application improves panel surface quality and supports clean release during pressing. Belt cleanliness is maintained for longer periods. Maintenance intervals can be extended.

Faster pressing cycles are enabled. Cleaning-related stoppages are reduced.

Optimised release agent consumption is a major advantage. One large MDF producer has reported reductions in release agent usage of up to 90% following implementation of the system. Operating costs can therefore be significantly lowered.

The process is designed to balance quality and efficiency. Material waste is minimised. Resource use is optimised.

In competitive MDF production environments, small efficiency improvements can generate substantial savings over time.

ScatterPro Enhances Precision in Surface Applications

IPCO will also present its ScatterPro precision scattering technology. The system is used in the production of safety flooring, abrasion-resistant panels and other advanced composite surfaces.

Accuracy is critical. Repeatability matters.

ScatterPro enables controlled and consistent distribution of materials across panel surfaces. High precision scattering is achieved. Application tolerances are tightly maintained.

The technology supports manufacturers producing sustainable composite materials. Surface performance characteristics can be enhanced. Product differentiation becomes possible.

Process stability is improved. Material utilisation is optimised.

Supporting India’s Growing Panel Industry

India’s wood-based panels market continues to expand, driven by construction, interior design and infrastructure development. Production volumes are rising steadily. Efficiency pressures are intensifying.

Technology upgrades are being prioritised. Service reliability is becoming a competitive factor.

IPCO’s exhibition strategy reflects these industry dynamics. Equipment performance alone is no longer sufficient. Ongoing technical support is expected. Long-term partnerships are valued.

By combining steel press belts, application systems and precision surface technologies with structured service support, IPCO aims to reinforce its position within the region’s panel manufacturing sector.

At IndiaWood 2026, the company will underline a clear message. Productivity must be protected. Quality must be consistent. Service must be dependable.

Through engineered belt solutions, optimised release agent application and precision scattering systems, IPCO is positioning itself as a comprehensive technology partner for India’s evolving wood-based panel industry.
