With HOLZ-HANDWERK set to take place in few months, the industry has lined up innovations to showcase at the one off “Summer Edition” of the show to be held between July 12-15, 2022. In this 20th anniversary year, visitors will not only enjoy the trade show in the usual seven exhibition halls but can also look forward to a new highlight in the supporting programme, with the premiere of a forum on digitalisation.

A snippet of what’s coming at the show:

2020 Technologies GmbH: As a provider of end-to-end solutions to the furniture and woodworking industries and the contract and shopfitting sectors, 2020 Technologies GmbH has put a lot of development resources into enhancing project functionalities and manufacturing topics such as machine integration, asset management, and the connection and creation of its own optimization consoles. Furthermore, in addition to the ERP solution, 2020 now also offers an advanced MES solution for manufacturers that can be integrated into any existing IT landscape.

As a highlight in the summer edition of the exhibition, 2020 Technologies GmbH will present the virtual 3D factory for the first time at a trade fair. On tours through the virtual factory, visitors can experience in 3D how productivity can be increased along the entire process chain in object and store construction with the help of modern software. Never before have the advantages of ERP & MES systems been so tangible.

Venjakob: At this year’s Holz-Handwerk in Nuremberg, Venjakob Maschinenbau will focus on the VEN SPRAY ONE. As a sensible replacement, or as a supplement to your hand-held spray booth and the growing demands for reliability and quality, Venjakob Maschinenbau offers an interesting alternative with the VEN SPRAY ONE model.
The compact spray coating machine is specially designed for the needs of entry-level users. The extra-large touch screen and the self-explanatory user interface of the control make machine operation easier.

Nestro: For the first time NESTRO® presents its new generation of dedusters in Germany: This is the first series of dedusters equipped with IE5 reluctance motor and frequency converter packages. In close 55 cooperation with ABB AG, the company is the first manufacturer worldwide to offer dedusters with permanently frequency-controlled, quieter IE5 motors as standard. The frequency converter ensures that the motor runs at the optimal operating point at all times. Users can save up to 22% energy costs compared to those using IE3 motors. In this 60 way, the Thuringian company makes a significant contribution to climate protection and at the same time saves the user money.

Biesse Group: Biesse will be presenting three integrated automatic cells, consisting of the Rover B Edge
machining centre with Synchro, Biesse’s exclusive loading/unloading solution that transforms the Rover machining centre into an automatic cell; the Selco WN2 panel saw, integrated with the Winstore automatic storage solution and with the Rover B FT machining centre, and the Brema Eko 2.2 compact vertical boring machine with ROS robot for loading and unloading operations. In addition, the edgebanding technologies present on the stand will include the Akron 1400 and Stream A automated single-sided edgebanding machines. The Viet sanding machine for smoothing operations will also be on display.

IMA Schelling: Central topics of the IMA Schelling Group’s trade show appearance are, in addition to the solution concepts for the medium performance range (performance class 2):

The unique batch size 1 drilling machine IMAGIC L1 with its innovative, completely setup-free drilling concept. It is specially designed to meet the requirements of efficient, variant-rich production and permits full 6-sided drilling.

Post-machining units in plug-and-play design, including the contour milling unit I-KFA for post-machining profiles with internal contours in the corner area. All units feature simplified spare parts stocking, improved machining quality and high-precision absolute linear guides.

The advantages of a (residual) bearing above the blank, which ensures a significant increase in performance even with limited installation space.

The eye-catcher of the booth is an interactive video. This allows visitors to configure exactly the system or production sequence that meets their requirements. Concrete questions guide him through the virtual journey to his individual plant solution. Together with its customers, IMA Schelling finds the perfect solution for the respective requirement.

HOLZHER: HOLZ-HER will showcase the latest technologies like EPICON and other. HOLZ-HER’s EPICON series is the next generation of CNC woodworking. The EPICON 5-axis CNC machine opens up new horizons for implementing your creativity.

The design of the Gantry bridge and machine column was optimiszed using the finite element to ensure absolute precision and perfectly cut workpieces even with the basic model while simultaneously allowing extremely high acceleration and cutting rates. To this HOLZ-HER has now added high precision direct servo-drive, wear-free couplings and covered, precision linear guides – all covered by 10 year HOLZ-HER guarantee.
