Hymmen, the technology provider for flooring, other high-end surfaces and engineered wood, is preparing for the IWF 2024 with fresh zeal. The company is about to present a special educational conference session at the summer’s International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta on the role digital printing will play in flooring production in the future. A live talk by flooring expert Sebastian Bazyk on Digital Lacquer Embossing (DLEplus) for SPC flooring highlights Hymmen’s IWF presentations.
The presentation is from flooring expert Sebastian Bazyk and will be held on August 7th at 1pm at the Fair. According to Hymmen, “During his presentation, he will showcase the flooring production of Engineered Floors and Amorim, both of which use Hymmen technologies, as concrete application examples. Anyone who wants to see and feel the outstanding flooring produced using Digital Lacquer Embossing technology (DLEplus) for themselves will find impressive samples at the trade fair stand—whether incorporated into furniture or as individual floor planks.”
Hymmen will debut its industrial digital printing line, showcasing its contemporary design and color scheme to highlight the innovative and dependable production process, as stated by the company. Another significant highlight this year is the company’s advanced technology for engineered wood, with a primary focus on single and multi-layer boards, as well as plywood/LVL.
“The positive feedback from our customers and the market’s desire for significantly higher automation and efficiency has now prompted us to expand our involvement in this market segment,” said Dr. René Pankoke, CEO and partner of Hymmen, in announcing the company’s IWF plans.
