HOMAG to unveil a host of surprises at Hall 13 and 14 in LIGNA

 Tuesday, May 14, 2019

HOMAG is gearing up to fill the entire Hall with machines, software and technical innovations. At the largest wood working event, everything will be live in action at Hall 14. Over an area of 5000sqm will be filled with more than 50 machines where HOMAG experts will be present to discuss every topic on innovations and software development.

At LIGNA 2019, HOMAG will present three new concepts for woodworking shops and small and medium sized entrepreneurs. These three new concepts, namely “Your solution for Digital Entry”, “Your solution for a networked digital workshop” and “Your solution for networked individual cells” are key attractions at HOMAG stand this year at LIGNA.

The workshop concept “Digital Entry” aims at helping in understanding how the company should begin the use of digital technology in business. The Network, Digital Workshop is an advanced system that helps in managing digital data in an efficient manner. How technology could simplify the worklife and accelerate the work process will be further demonstrated here in a simple manner. Individual machines, smart hardware, advanced software and digital assistants are there to assist in business growth and development.

HOMAG will further present a fully autonomous and automated, variably adjustable production concept for batch size 1 production – from cutting through to fully packed furniture. They will introduce an upgraded version of automated guided vehicles which they introduced last year. This is known as transport robots – TRANSBOT, here the ControllerMES production control system is far more improved and helps in completing logistic tasks in a flexible way.

HOMAG is all set to showcase new technologies and features in all areas of surface processing opening up new ways to produce high quality furniture ergonomically, smartly and efficiently. HOMAG is introducing an optimised spray coding machine that helps in reducing manufacturing cost, reduce cleaning and improve the working condition with new generation SPRAYTEQ S-100. With new WALLTEQ M -380 insuFill multifunction bridge HOMAG’s insulation installation technology is ready to take a quantum leap.

New Tool Manager from HOMAG to offer digital assistant for management and organisation. Based on tapio ecosystem the companies will now be able to manage various tools and information in a proper way through tool manager. For LIGNA they are beginning with the management of saw blades for panel dividing saws. Various manufacturers have updated the system with data on saw blades. The user may quickly scan the barcode by using the smartphone and then transfer the information directly to the machine when it is connected to tapio. The digital assistance thus successfully make data searching quick, easy and reduces error.

At LIGNA there will be a display of a wide variety of products, developments in CNC technology and whole of the HOMAG group products. New products, new machines, software development and interaction with the woodworking experts will be possible at the exhibition centre. The new CNC CENTATEQ P-210 will debut at LIGNA, the highlights of the machine include, five axis head with an accessible interface to perform better. Apart from these the EDGETEQ S-800 profiline series Edge Banding machine is ideal for special-order-based production. With a feed speed of 35 m/min this system supports higher capacity output. With the motto “Our focus and your solution” HOMAG is ready to once again inspire the woodworking industry at the woodworking event in Hannover fair from May 27 to 31.
