HOMAG takes stern step to fight novel coronavirus outbreak

 Monday, March 23, 2020

In the wake of the present scenario HOMAG takes stern step to fight back the sudden outbreak of COVID-19. The HOMAG group decided to postpone its annual general meeting due to spread of coronavirus. Due to the spread of coronavirus in Germany, HOMAG Group AG will not hold its annual general meeting as scheduled on May 7, 2020. The company is following a directive passed by the state government of Baden-Württemberg, which prohibits all meetings and other events, initially until June 15, 2020.

The postponement of the annual general meeting means that the compensation payment of EUR 1.01 per share cannot be paid to shareholders as planned on May 8, 2020, but on the first banking day after the date of the Annual General Meeting, which is still to be determined.

An alternate date for the annual general meeting, which must be held as a face-to-face meeting, has not yet been decided. This will depend on the further spread of coronavirus and the relevant official measures. HOMAG Group AG aims to hold its annual general meeting by August 31, 2020, at the latest, according to the provisions of the German Stock Corporation Act.
