The WEINIG Group, with its two brands Weinig and Holz-Her, will be presenting groundbreaking solutions for these focus topics at LIGNA 2023. Visitors can expect numerous technological innovations and developments as well as live experiences in XXL format from all business units: The Group will be presenting over 50 exhibits on around 5,000 sqm in Hall 27.

True to its motto “Weinig offers more”, the company invites visitors to experience an all-round view of its extensive range of machines, systems, software and services – for the production of single workpieces through to automated series production of solid wood and panel products.

The experts of Weinig Systems Solutions will be there to inform visitors about Weinig’s competences for the implementation of integrated production lines in the solid wood sector, significant new developments for the optimization of production processes and about current large-scale projects.

With innovative product concepts, the Weinig System Solutions division has contributed greatly to the development of CLT component production and made it possible to significantly increase timber yield from the board to the finished CLT wall element. At LIGNA Weinig will show a use case with state-of-the-art CLT production for the manufacture of wall elements for timber construction.

Weinig New Business & Innovation experts will demonstrate how specific applications increase the availability of the machines and relieve skilled personnel through efficient production control.

Focusing on LIGNA focus topic, Prefab Building Processes, Weinig will have a special exhibition on ‘PREFABRICATION PROCESSES IN TIMBER CONSTRUCTION’

As in previous years, the Weinig Grecon production site in Alfeld near Hanover will be opening its doors at LIGNA for a supplementary special exhibition on the subject of jointing technology.

Finger jointing lines for optimum material utilization and efficient, value-adding utilization of residues of the valuable raw material wood will be on display. The special exhibition will focus on various types of finger jointing lines – ProfiJoint, Ultra TT 100, Power Joint 18 and Power Joint 8 – supplemented by a Rondamat tool grinder.
