With the OFKC 500, MFKC 700 cordless edge routers and the special version MFKC 700 KA, Festool is expanding its product portfolio with cordless edge routers from September 2025. The cordless edgebanders enable greater flexibility, manoeuvrability and smooth work processes for every application. Ideal solutions for rounding and chamfering solid wood or plastic edges, for flush routing protruding laminate panels or edge banding. Supplemented by the innovative ZS-MFK 700 accessory set, Festool offers customised solutions for professional edge processing – flexible, ergonomic and uncompromisingly precise. All cordless models can be connected to the Festool app, which enables software updates and the reading of machine data.
Ergonomic, simple and fast: The OFKC 500
The OFKC 500 is the cordless edge router for anyone who values fast and clean edges without reworking. With just a few settings, it is ready for immediate use and ensures smooth work processes. Whether rounding, chamfering or flush routing – the compact cordless edge router is easy to handle thanks to its balanced centre of gravity and slim design. The precisely adjustable routing depth setting in the 1/10 mm range ensures maximum precision. In addition, the small bore diameter in the base plate enables perfect routing results without tilting.
A brushless EC-TEC motor guarantees powerful, low-vibration work with a long service life. The transparent extraction bonnet with integrated ball bearing brake guides, brakes and extracts efficiently. The result: a clean working environment. Thanks to the Bluetooth® battery pack, the vacuum cleaner starts automatically with the machine for even more convenience. The OFKC 500 combines cordless freedom of movement with maximum precision.
Versatility redefined: The MFKC 700
The MFKC 700 cordless modular edge router is a real all-rounder. Thanks to the universal interface, various router tables can be mounted without tools – ideal for applications such as rounding, chamfering, flush routing, profiling, rebating or grooving. The long router table support with ergonomic handle enables secure guidance without tilting. Here too, the depth adjustment with 1/10 mm accuracy combined with the powerful EC-TEC motor and material-specific speed control ensures perfect results. The integrated extraction system in the milling table contributes to healthy and efficient working.
The specialist for edgebanding: The MFKC 700 KA
With the MFKC 700 KA, Festool is expanding the MFKC series with a special solution for precise flush routing and rounding of edge banding. It is the perfect complement to the CONTURO KA 65 edge bander. The raised table support enables the processing of protruding edges, while the ball bearing brake protects sensitive surfaces. Thanks to its optimum centre of gravity, the router can be guided safely without tipping over. The chip catcher serves as a guide aid – even for bevelled edges up to 45°.
