Fagus-GreCon, a global leader in industrial fire prevention solutions, has been honored with the iF Gold Award 2025 for its GreCon PROTECTOR. This next-generation fire protection system, which integrates spark and flame detection, a control unit, and an extinguishing module, was recognized for its outstanding user-centric design, modular architecture, and seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics.
Designed to detect and neutralize fire risks in industrial environments, the GreCon PROTECTOR safeguards pipelines, machinery, and production facilities, preventing fires and explosions before they ignite.
The iF judging panel commended Fagus-GreCon’s commitment to innovation, highlighting how the system successfully combines user-friendliness with industrial safety, following the company’s Bauhaus-inspired design principles.
“This award once again confirms our practical approach to innovation,” said Dr. Michael Mehlhorn, Head of Global R&D Fire Prevention at Fagus-GreCon. “At Fagus-GreCon, we don’t just develop in a lab—we innovate where production processes need protection. Close collaboration with our customers and our pioneering spirit drive our success, and this recognition is a testament to that.”
This marks another milestone in Fagus-GreCon’s legacy of design excellence, following its first iF DESIGN AWARD in 1995. The latest iF Gold Award 2025 reinforces the company’s continuous innovation and commitment to industrial safety.
