The businesses and personalities honoured with the Parkett Star are renowned within the sector as outstanding examples of original innovations and ideas as well as their thoughtful business practices. For the twelfth time, Parkett Magazin will bestow the prestigious industry honour. The best of the best will once again be chosen from a pool of elite applicants in 2023 by a high-ranking jury made up of representatives from the wood and building material trades as well as the industry.
The Parkett Magazin, published by Hamburg-based SN-Verlag, has been a popular choice in Europe for trade publication for wood, cork, laminate, and design flooring since 2012. Its coveted award is part of a pro-parquet campaign that involves business, industry, and trade. The Parkett Star 2023 winners were chosen by an impartial panel made up of members of the business and trade communities. Applications for Parkett Magazin came from all throughout Germany and Austria.
Winners are innovative and committed
All of the Parkett Star recipients impress with exceptional business accomplishments as well as creative ideas and concepts, and they all exhibit excellent dedication to parquet flooring and its promotion. On the first day of the trade show, anticipate watching the winners be announced live at DOMOTEX on stage.
Award categories
“This year’s winners are also outstanding for their great commitment to successful parquet marketing,” reveals Claudia Weidt, Editor-in-Chief of Parkett Magazin.
Excellent retailers, craftsmen, and a well-known member of the parquet business will each receive one of fifteen awards in eleven categories, including a special prize and an honorary award. The top start-ups, succession laws, and innovative digital marketing are among the award categories, along with the best parquet presentations in trade and crafts.
All Parkett Star winners will remain a secret until the award ceremony at DOMOTEX. On January 12, 2023, the opening day of the trade show at 5 p.m., in hall 23, booth A80, DOMOTEX on stage will hold the ceremony. After a break of three years, Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of DOMOTEX events globally, is happy to return “to commemorate the parquet business in a meaningful manner in conjunction with Parquet Magazine at DOMOTEX.”
