Elmia Wood 2022 created wonderful atmosphere for business

Elmia Wood 2022 successfully created a wonderful atmosphere for business. The good atmosphere and a longing to meet again, characterized Elmia Wood 2022 with many satisfied visitors and exhibitors. Nearly 26,000 visitors trampled diligently around the loop that took them to over 270 exhibitors from 22 different countries. The forestry fair, Elmia Wood 2022 held in Jönköping, Sweden, between June 2 – 4 attracted huge participation.

As a trading place and event, Elmia Wood has had fantastic days. The fair has run well, much thanks to good teamwork. But also through fantastic commitment from exhibitors and not least from all visitors. It has been fantastic to meet the joy and energy that has permeated the visitor route. It is clear that the fair as a meeting point has been longed for by many, says Anders Roman, program manager for Elmia Wood.

The fair has offered both technological innovations and smart start-up ideas, which we are guaranteed to see more of in the future. The fair’s theme “The value of the forest for the innovative and sustainable forestry of the future” has clearly shaped the discussions. Not least on the successful venture Wood Let’s talk which attracted many to sit down and listen to exciting debates and lectures. It is also fun to see how many people are interested and take on the new venture – the knowledge loop – Innovation Loop.

“Our exhibitors are very satisfied, in some cases above their expectations. And the great atmosphere testified to the visitors’ satisfaction too. I am particularly pleased that the forests’ importance to Sweden and the world from a climate perspective so clearly characterised the fair,” says Anders Roman, programme manager for Elmia Wood. Next edition is scheduled again in May/June 2025.
