EGGER Group bids farewell to one of its valued member Ulrich Bühler, who has rendered his committed service for 24 years. As a member of the EGGER Group Management, the highest management body of the wood-based material manufacturer, Ulrich Bühler played a key role in shaping the fortunes of the company.
A career full of milestones
Ulrich Bühler began his successful career at EGGER in 2000 as Sales Manager at the Brilon (DE) plant. He was then responsible for the sales and marketing agendas in the Country Management Germany. In 2006, he was finally appointed to Group Management and held this role full of responsibility until 2022. For 16 years, he steered the fortunes of the EGGER Group and was responsible for sales and marketing in the Group Management.
During this time, the EGGER Group attained strong growth and further internationalisation in the wood industry. Ulrich Bühler successfully led his areas of responsibility on the path to digitalisation and built up an extensive international sales network. Within the company, but also far beyond, Ulrich Bühler is held in high esteem for his vision, his commitment and his constant striving for win-win solutions for all partners. Ulrich Bühler has been entrusted with strategic projects since 2022 and acted as a mentor and advisor to his successor Michael Egger Jr.
In his role, Ulrich Bühler spent 16 years in charge of EGGER Group’s global activities in sales, marketing, product management and communication. He is about to mark the start of a new chapter in his life, as he moves towards his retirement that will be effective from the end of April 2024. EGGER Group, that has earned a good name in the woodworking industry with the expertise of its members, has also extented its sincere thanks to Ulrich Bühler.
