Dürr Group is pleased to announce that Björn Voss assumed the role of Vice President of their Corporate Communications, Investor Relations and Sustainability department in April.
“With 20 years of experience in the capital markets and a proven track record from his previous role at Bertrandt Group, Björn Voss brings valuable expertise and leadership skills to our team. A warm welcome to our Group”
Dürr stands for highly automated painting and final assembly systems for automotive production — with digital and sustainable solutions for greater efficiency, flexibility, and quality. Another business area with future potential is production lines for battery electrodes.
Their machines, systems, and services stand for economical and sustainable production processes. In 2025*, we generated 53% of our sales from the automotive industry and 33% from producers of furniture and timber houses. The remaining sales were distributed among sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electrical engineering, and battery production.
Thanks to their international presence, they are represented locally in all of the world’s key market regions. The company operates 124 business locations in 32 countries. In addition to North America and Western Europe, the emerging markets are also among our most important sales regions. These accounted for 43% of their order intake and 42% of our sales in fiscal 2025.
Dürr has recently brought a control unit with some key enhancements to market. More available colours, additional functions, and, for the first time, the ability to control cleaning equipment for different applicators make the control system the central component for reliable and efficient painting processes.
In many production environments, control units need to be precisely tailored to the dosing technology and applicator to ensure reliable operation of the overall system. With the new EcoAUC2, Dürr is raising the performance of application control to a new level and, at the same time, simplifying its integration into modern plant concepts. The control of various technical components has been extended, and now includes an integrated high-speed unloader, which improves cycle times and increases safety when working with high voltage. Optionally, the control unit regulates an integrated air heater to ensure a consistently high application quality, particularly in humid and warm production environments.
