The International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools, and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industry (DREMA) 2024 in Poznań will once again feature a dedicated program for women in the furniture industry. Now a staple of the event, these meetings bring together businesswomen from the furniture, interior design, and wood sectors. This year marks the fifth edition of this gathering, with a focus on the critical topic of work-life balance.
During the event organised by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and the MTP Group, distinguished women will share their knowledge, passion, and dedication. The gathering will combine both conference and networking elements. Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to engaging lectures on industry-relevant topics, converse with leaders in the furniture business, exchange up-to-date information, and establish new connections.
The introductory lecture will be given by Eliza Pawlik-Rykaczewska, Raw Material Manager Europe & Africa at IKEA. The discussion panel will be a huge source of inspiration. This year’s talks will be held under the slogan ” Maintaining life balance, work-life balance “. The invited leaders of the furniture business will seek answers to the question: how to achieve work-life balance in a world of ever new challenges. Małgorzata Bernady from VOX will convince us that design is a woman, giving a lecture ” Sensitive design. Interiors under tender care “.
The meeting will be attended by, among others, the new deputy director of the DREMA trade fair, Małgorzata Ożóg, who has been associated with the wood and furniture industry and therefore with the DREMA trade fair since 2011. In her career, she has also coordinated work on the exhibition of such international events as the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24) and the World Urban Forum 11 (WUF11).
