Digitisation for fittings manufacturers

At the Holz and SICAM trade fairs in October, the service provider iFurn is presenting its new offers for using its own data service especially for hardware manufacturers and their dealers. The aim is to pave the way for manufacturers to digitalisation. With iFurn, manufacturers have the opportunity to digitally distribute their article data to designers.

The iFurn data service provides the complete data management for the fittings manufacturer: the item data is processed digitally and made available for download in the iFurn cloud. Designers access this data via the web tool iFurn Composer and can configure it as they need it for their design. The iFurn Composer provides the designers with a complete set of fittings with technical data, which they can insert directly into their design. The iFurn Composer is available to all designers via the online platform Tapio, which offers digital workshop solutions for carpenters, furniture manufacturers and panel processors after purchasing a corresponding license.

Hardware manufacturers can also provide the data prepared by iFurn themselves: With the ‘Your iFurn’ application, the data is integrated into your own website, if desired also in the corporate design. Designers then also use the iFurn Composer here to select and download fittings. Manufacturers are thus creating a whole new range of services for their customers and bringing their digital items directly to them on the market.

At the Holz in Basel, iFurn will present not only its own developments but also new joint projects with companies that use the iFurn data service.
