Deutsche Messe AG- Trade Fair restarts under new Corona regulations

 Friday, September 3, 2021

Deutsche Messe AG recently announces that the new Corona Ordinance now enables live operation of trade fairs and events in Lower Saxony. This new Corona Ordinance symbolises restart for physical events at the popular exhibition ground in Hannover. The published “3G regulation” as well as associated safety and hygiene norms encourage show organizers to arrange trade fairs and events at the event platform.

“With the new Corona Regulation in Lower Saxony, the long-awaited re-launch of trade fairs and events of all types and sizes in Hannover now begins for Deutsche Messe and all its guest organisers,” says Dr. JochenKöckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG.

Köckler: “For vaccinated, recovered and tested participants – in combination with a safety and hygiene concept coordinated with the Hannover Region Health Office – trade fairs and events at the Hannover Exhibition Centre are possible again from now on.”

With the new Corona Ordinance in Lower Saxony, Deutsche Messe is taking advantage of a trade fair and event-friendly, long-term regulation. Köckler: “Both for our upcoming guest events, EUHA Congress, INTERGEO, BioNord and eroFame in September, as well as for our own events CMM in November and Pferd&Jagd in December, the new Corona Ordinance of the State of Lower Saxony provides the necessary tailwind and enables all event formats to have a solid planning basis.”

The prospects for upcoming shows are also bright as new exhibition year 2022 is coming and the upcoming trade fairs DOMOTEX, AGRITECHNICA, HANNOVER MESSE and INTERSCHUTZ: “Under the newly applicable framework conditions of Lower Saxony’s Corona Ordinance, both smaller events and conference trade fairs as well as large-scale events are once again possible on our grounds. The risk of having to cancel a planned trade fair or event on our exhibition grounds at short notice is thus almost non-existent in the future,” says Köckler.
