The new versions, available starting October 7, 2024, bring advanced features aimed at improving precision, expanding output capabilities, and streamlining workflow automation. Centralized through a RIP instance and ColorGATE’s powerful REST API, this version facilitates streamlined operations, reducing manual tasks.
2. Precision Simplified: Users can now enjoy greater ease in achieving high-quality results, thanks to the Advanced Media Preview feature. This tool provides enhanced visualizations of job elements such as cut marks, QR codes, and multi-page jobs before production begins, making error detection faster and easier.
3. Output Simplified: Productionserver Version 24 includes expanded Multilayer Printing capabilities, supporting different job files for top and bottom layers. This feature is ideal for backlit “Day & Night” displays and double-sided block-out prints with varied images on each side, ensuring flawless, versatile printing outputs.
4. Workflow Simplified: Enhancements in workflow automation include improved REST API support and Media Device Synchronization. The implementation of Adobe’s PDF Print Engine Version 6.3 guarantees flawless PDF rendering from the design stage to the final print, ensuring consistent quality throughout.

Version 24 of ColorGATE’s software suite supports over 2,000 devices, with regular updates adding new drivers. Customers benefit from a simplified maintenance concept via the Value Pack, which offers the latest software updates and access to support.
