BURKLE shares overwhelming response received at LIGNA 2023

As part of the world’s leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing, LIGNA 2023 provided a platform for companies to showcase their products and services. BURKLE used this opportunity to present its extensive know-how and technology portfolio.

The BURKLE booth stood out in a 750-square-meter space because of its contemporary design. There, cutting-edge gear and equipment offered visitors an understanding of the company’s technological prowess. BURKLE used digital multimedia displays and physical presentations to virtually introduce the machinery and equipment line.

UV-LED roller coating unit and the spray coating robotic system – some of these were the prime highlights at the show. Also, these specific products, in cooperation with SIEMENS, are connected to the new Industrial Edge Cloud platform. These innovations highlight BURKLE’s role as a technology leader and the company’s readiness to meet current market trends.

The advantage of robotic handling for customers is that no special robotics knowledge is required. Due to the SIEMENS control concept, the integration of robotics is seamless and uncomplicated.

The SIEMENS Edge Cloud platform makes it possible to bring computing power directly to the plant. Data is recorded, stored, evaluated and displayed in real-time. This innovative technology enables customers to optimise their production processes and make personnel deployment more efficient. 

At LIGNA 2023, the BURKLE “Digital Twin” project was also updated and exhibited. It incorporates real-time data from sensors and equipment to enable monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of the physical counterpart. The digital twin enables quicker commissioning of new production lines and thorough testing of mechanics and software by synchronising the virtual and physical models. 

Participating in LIGNA 2023 allowed BURKLE to engage in dialogue with industry experts, make valuable contacts and expand its network. The exhibition allowed visitors to experience the industry’s transformation first-hand and see how BURKLE’s technologies and solutions can contribute.
