Broadview Materials Europe, a newly established platform that unites the offerings of several globally recognised brands, is leading the changing landscape of materials and surfaces for interior design with its unmatched innovations. Following its initial reveal at interzum in Cologne, the group is now marking its official Italian debut at SICAM 2025 in Pordenone, reaffirming an integrated vision that places materials synergy at the heart of modern design.

Broadview Materials is a global entity comprising leading names in the surfaces industry, including FENIX®, Arpa®, Formica®, Homapal®, and Getacore®. The strategic move to form Broadview Materials Europe creates a combined sales and distribution network that simplifies access for customers across the continent, allowing designers and manufacturers to effortlessly mix and match materials to create solutions that excel in quality, beauty, and affordability. The SICAM trade fair (Fiera di Pordenone) provides the perfect stage for this collective to present its integrated portfolio and preview significant product novelties.

The exhibition space for Broadview Materials Europe at SICAM 2025 (Padiglione 9, Stand A20/B17) is conceived not just as a display area but as an immersive architectural volume that embodies the concept of material integration.

The entire structure is clad in high-impact surfaces, specifically utilising the deep, elegant tones of FENIX® Rosso Namib and Grigio Antrim. This design choice immediately draws attention to the aesthetic power and versatility of the group’s flagship nanotech material, FENIX. The setup is designed as a visual landscape in constant transformation, where the interplay of textures, colours, and light encourages visitors to move through the space and experience the unique characteristics of each brand.

By showcasing the brands side-by-side, the installation tells a story that weaves technology and materiality together. This integrated storytelling is crucial to demonstrating “The Big +,” the group’s philosophy that the combination of their diverse materials—from the iconic durability of Formica to the real metallic shimmer of Homapal—results in greater creative potential than the sum of their individual parts.

Product launches

SICAM 2025 serves as the launching pad for important product innovations and range extensions across the Broadview Material portfolio, offering fresh tools for the furniture and interior design industries.

1. Homapal®: The evolution of metallic laminates

The German brand Homapal, a specialist in sophisticated real metal laminates, is significantly expanding its collection. They are introducing 20 new metallic decors that bring an original and contemporary twist to the range.

  • Deeper textures and vibrant colours: The new collection features stunning deep surfaces and a vibrant colour palette, enhancing the industrial-chic aesthetic that has become highly sought-after in both commercial and high-end residential furniture.
  • Contemporary designs: These additions offer designers and manufacturers a greater degree of flexibility for creating striking accents in cabinetry, wall cladding, and fixture design, confirming Homapal’s position as the industry leader for authentic metal surfaces. Highlights include new finishes within the Perspectives/Depths and Perspectives/Industrial families, along with expanded offerings in Elements and Gestures collections that showcase unique effects like wax-rubbed and oil-rubbed brass.

2. Arpa®: New finishes for the kitchen and furniture Sector

The Italian design powerhouse Arpa, known for its vivid creativity and high-quality decorative laminates, is spotlighting innovations tailored for kitchen and furniture applications.

  • Arpa VIS Gloss: Two innovative kitchen island solutions will be displayed to showcase the new VIS Gloss surfaces, demonstrating their capacity to deliver a premium, high-shine aesthetic without compromising on performance.
  • Reinterpreted Ghibli Finish: Arpa is also reintroducing a modern take on its iconic Ghibli finish, enriching it with five new decors. The Ghibli finish is now engineered for versatile application on both vertical and horizontal surfaces, opening up new creative possibilities for integrated furniture and interior projects where a unified aesthetic is desired. This reinterpretation reinforces Arpa’s ability to blend timeless design with modern functional demands.

The unveiling of Broadview Materials Europe is a strategic regional move. By creating a unified platform in Europe, the group is streamlining the entire process from specification to delivery.

  • Enhanced service and accessibility: The combined sales and distribution structure is specifically designed to provide customers with greater service and accessibility. This consolidation means easier sourcing and supply chain management for manufacturers who rely on the varied portfolio of the group’s brands.
  • A focus on furniture hubs: Launching at SICAM in Pordenone, Italy, strategically positions the new European platform at the heart of one of the world’s most critical furniture manufacturing regions. It acknowledges the need for Italian and European designers to have immediate, combined access to nanotech (FENIX), metallic (Homapal), high-pressure (Formica), and decorative (Arpa) surfaces.

The unified presence at SICAM 2025 marks a pivotal moment, signaling that Broadview Materials Europe is ready to deliver an unparalleled, integrated selection of surfaces that meet the industry’s demand for materials that are not just beautiful but also sustainable, innovative, and functionally superior.
