As the global flooring industry converges on Las Vegas for The International Surface Event (TISE) 2026, Swedish flooring powerhouse Bjelin is set to take centre stage. From January 26–29, 2026, industry professionals, architects, and designers will gather at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center to witness the latest advancements in surface technology.

Bjelin, a subsidiary of Pervanovo Invest AB, has officially announced it will be showcasing its most ambitious product lineup to date at Booth 1657. The highlight of the exhibit is the much-anticipated Woodura Herringbone 3.0, alongside an expanded range of Woodura Planks 3.0. These products represent a fusion of minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics and heavy-duty performance engineering.

The centerpiece of Bjelin’s TISE presentation is the Woodura Herringbone 3.0. This updated collection addresses the growing demand for classic patterns that do not sacrifice durability. By utilising patented technology, Bjelin has managed to offer herringbone formats that are not only easier to install but significantly more resilient than traditional solid or engineered parquet.

“We’re excited to network and showcase our new and updated Woodura Herringbone 3.0,” says Bob Naida, Bjelin’s Residential and Commercial National Sales Manager in the US. “TISE is an inspiring event that calls for equally inspiring products—and that’s exactly what we plan to deliver.”

The 3.0 range introduces a broader palette of nature-inspired hues and updated formats, allowing for greater creative freedom in both high-end residential renovations and large-scale commercial developments.

At the heart of Bjelin’s success is the Woodura® technology, developed by its sister company, Välinge Innovation AB—the pioneers behind the original click-flooring system.

Unlike traditional engineered wood, which relies on a thick top layer of timber, Woodura® uses a high-tech process to fuse a thin layer of real wood onto a high-density fiber core through a moisture-resistant powder layer. This process results in a floor that is:

  • 3x Stronger: Woodura floors boast three times the impact resistance of traditional engineered wood, making them virtually dent-proof.
  • Enhanced Water Resistance: The 3.0 generation features improved topical water resistance, catering to the needs of modern kitchens and commercial lobbies.
  • Sustainable by Design: Because the process maximises the yield from every log, Bjelin can produce up to ten times more flooring from the same amount of raw lumber compared to traditional methods.

Sustainability is no longer a “nice-to-have” in the flooring sector; it is a requirement. Bjelin’s commitment to the environment is rooted in its vertically integrated supply chain. The company utilises FSC®-certified wood sourced from the world-renowned forests of Croatia, specifically the high-quality Slavonian oak.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to combine cutting-edge technology, quality raw wood materials, sustainability, and Scandinavian design,” Naida noted. “We can’t wait to share these solutions with architects, designers, and flooring professionals.”

The International Surface Event is the largest North American flooring, stone, and tile industry event. For Bjelin, TISE 2025 serves as a strategic launchpad to solidify its footprint in the United States.

As the US market moves toward products that offer both the warmth of natural materials and the performance of synthetics (like LVP), Bjelin’s Hardened Wood category occupies a unique “sweet spot.” It offers the 100% real wood feel that consumers crave with the technical specifications required for high-traffic environments like hotels, restaurants, and busy households.

About Bjelin and Pervanovo

Bjelin is a global leader in the flooring industry, part of the Pervanovo Invest AB group. The company’s heritage is deeply intertwined with innovation; its sister company, Välinge Innovation, is the inventor of the 5G® locking system and Woodura® technology.

By controlling the entire production chain—from the forests in Croatia to the state-of-the-art factories in Sweden—Bjelin ensures that every plank meets rigorous European standards for quality and environmental stewardship. Their mission is to create floors that last for generations while minimising the carbon footprint of the building industry.
