Bjelin, a leading innovator in sustainable flooring solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Whiteriver Group, Ireland’s top flooring supplier, naming them the national distributor for Bjelin’s hardened wood flooring range, Woodura Planks. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly, high-performance flooring solutions in Ireland’s residential and commercial markets.
The Woodura Plank range, crafted with the advanced Woodura technology by Bjelin’s sister company Välinge Innovation, offers durability up to three times that of traditional wood floors and resists dents and water damage. “As end-users increasingly prioritize greener choices, we believe architects, designers, and homeowners across Ireland will value the sustainability and quality of Woodura Planks, especially with the wide board dimensions,” noted Iain Wogan, Co-CEO and Head of Sales at Whiteriver Group. “We’re thrilled to launch this partnership and have carefully selected an initial 25 customers to introduce Bjelin’s products in the market.”
This partnership will enable Whiteriver Group customers to access Woodura Planks in XXL formats, available in eight colors with a premium pro matt lacquer finish. These features make the planks ideal for high-traffic areas in both commercial and residential spaces.

Woodura Planks are produced using sustainable processes, with raw materials sourced directly from forests to maximize efficiency and minimize waste. The manufacturing approach requires less material, which benefits both the environment and the home. Additionally, the planks feature the 5G Dry locking system, an innovative, leakproof technology that enables quick installation without nails or glue and prevents water from seeping through seams.
