Bisley had another successful year when they revealed their ambitious partnership with RISOTTO Studio, where they turned two items from their Fern collection into breathtaking artworks for Clerkenwell Design Week 2025. For another year, this marks the formal conclusion, and what a great week it was!
With great pleasure, Bisley welcomes Gabriella Marcella, the founder of RISOTTO, who gave a talk titled “Rules of Play.” In it, she discussed the history of “Tetris,” the pattern that appears in all of its collaboration pieces, the intriguing process of Riso printing, outlining its principles and foundations, and the exciting, soon-to-open new studio in Glasgow. The Group was happy to have new partners, GreyFox, in the showroom, along with a number of their fantastic goods. They were all listening intently to designer Simon Dennehy’s thought-provoking talk, “Design for Applied Human Movement,” which explored how investigation into intuitive human movement can revolutionise design and how human-centric design principles challenge conventional furniture thinking.

Bisley displayed several of their exquisite furniture collections in both residential and commercial settings. Arches were prominently shown in the window, showcasing the range’s dynamic character throughout its adaptable arrangement. It also featured an upgraded Outline configuration called the Gazebo, which provided a peaceful workspace while maintaining the impression of an open office. Additionally, they increased the exhibition of their wide range of lockers, including examples of our all-inclusive BeSmart service.
They concentrated on fusing RISOTTO’s playful pattern with their recently released dark wood Rowan series, which has a deep, rich walnut finish that complements the mid-century style flawlessly. To further showcase their extensive capabilities, the collection was proudly shown alongside their first dining endeavor, Cora, the stunning Scandinavian-style dining table, stool, and benches, and of course, their well-known steel home furnishings collection, Fern.
Bisley threw its renowned party to cap off this year’s Clerkenwell Design Week, welcoming hundreds of guests—both new and old—all night long. Showing off a new, bolder Bisley, catching up with everyone, and getting positive feedback on their new showroom design was fantastic. They had a great evening of live music and traditional British food, and the night went by quickly. They would like to express their gratitude to everyone who came to the showroom during Clerkenwell Design Week this year. They hope that every visitor had a great time meeting some of their excellent staff and perusing their vast furniture collections.
