GEW Inc. has announced the promotion of Billy Adams to Vice President of Operations, effective immediately. With over 22 years of dedicated service to GEW and the printing industry, Adams will now join GEW’s Senior Management team.
Since joining the company in 2002, Adams has accumulated extensive experience in operations, most recently serving as Service Manager. He has earned a stellar reputation for his rapid and effective responses to customer needs, ensuring smooth operations for GEW customers. Known for his positive and hands-on approach, Adams has played a pivotal role in providing excellent service and technical support.
Adams’ background includes a qualification in Avionics and significant service in the US Marine Corps prior to his time at GEW. Throughout his career, he has continuously expanded his skill set, achieving qualifications in various areas including Service, Electronics, commercial driving, and crane operation.
In his new role, Adams will oversee the Service and Spares teams at GEW Inc., with primary responsibility for the USA and Canada, while also extending support to GEW’s distributors and customers in Latin America as needed.
Reflecting on his new role, Adams shared:
“Our mission is to strengthen support for GEW’s customers across the region by delivering outstanding products and maintaining the lightning-fast service they rely on.”

Adams’ promotion marks an important milestone in his long-standing career with GEW, as he continues to drive the company’s operational excellence forward.
