As part of the transition, Beatsons has confirmed plans to reopen the former Orchard Timber Products branches, with operations expected to resume from mid-January 2026. A short integration period will take place to align systems, supply chains, and operational processes. During this phase, Beatsons will provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders regarding branch readiness, product ranges, and service availability.
Orchard Timber Products was established in 2004 and has built a strong reputation over more than 20 years in the Scottish construction supply market. Operating from branches in Forfar and Livingston, the business has served a loyal customer base spanning regional housebuilders, independent contractors, and specialist joiners. Beatsons has acknowledged the importance of these longstanding relationships and has stated its intention to maintain service continuity wherever possible as the business transitions under new ownership.
The acquisition aligns with Beatsons Building Supplies’ broader growth strategy, which focuses on expanding specialist product categories and enhancing regional coverage.
