The Multilayer Modular Flooring Association (MMFA) has welcomed Barlinek as its latest ordinary member, further expanding its network of industry leaders.
MMFA President Jan Dossche (COREtec® Floors) expressed his enthusiasm about the new addition, stating: “We are elated to see the MMFA expand its membership and alongside it, more experience, expertise and resources to pursue our common sustainability and innovation goals. We welcome Barlinek as new member excited and ready to work together.”
Barlinek’s CEO, Wojciech MichaĆowski, highlighted the company’s dedication to sustainability and its eagerness to contribute to the MMFA’s work: “We are thrilled to become a member of the MMFA, seeing the work the association has done so far on sustainability. Green solutions are the centrepiece of our work at Barlinek, and we look forward to collaborating with other industry leaders, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the development of new standards that will shape the future of the modular flooring industry.”
Barlinek, a renowned Polish company, specialises in producing layered wooden floors, along with flooring for sports facilities, skirting boards, and wood biofuels. Committed to sustainability, the company invests in cutting-edge technology to ensure its products are environmentally neutral. For its vinyl flooring, Barlinek uses materials free from phthalates, heavy metals, and other harmful substances.
With Barlinek joining its ranks, the MMFA now boasts 31 ordinary members—comprising producers of multilayer modular flooring (MMF) or their European representatives—alongside 29 associate members from supplier companies and three supporting members from scientific institutes.
