Anthon’s 150-year legacy: A testament to adaptation and growth

 Monday, March 24, 2025

It’s a pleasure and appreciation on the more than 150 years that Anthon has grown into a globally recognised business. Over the course of generations, they continuously increased the product line. Both domestically and internationally, they were aware of the demands of their clients and the markets. Anthon is pleased to introduce its Sanding and Cut-to-Size line to its esteemed client Greenpanel in Andhra Pradesh in honor of its glorious 150th anniversary. This could be a springboard for Anthon in the blooming Indian market.

About Cut-to-size lines
Anthon cut-to-size lines assert that they may provide a versatile solution for any need. Whether the angular system is semi-automatic, fully automatic, or a single-axis saw, the planning process takes into account the unique needs of the client from the outset.

A variety of Anthon cut-to-size lines, including portal saws, multi-blade saws, and customised saws, process materials including wood, derived timber products, plastics, PCBs, gypsum and fiber boards, insulating materials, and aluminum with flawless cutting quality.

A fixed workpiece position and a vibration- and play-free tool run guarantee the best cutting quality and accuracy. Here’s when pressure beam saws are useful. The foundation of a high-quality cut is the workpiece’s precise placement and fixation with a pressure beam acting from above.

The saw, designed as an under-table unit with a low-maintenance rack and pinion drive, as well as the infinitely variable lifting of the saw unit, guarantees a clean cut at different package heights.

Enhancements to the saw’s periphery, like using a rotary table for optimised cutting, a double-saw unit for efficient hemming, and a built-in suction system for quick chip removal, can significantly improve effectiveness.
