ANDRITZ AG’s new amendments to supervisory board

On March 27, 2025, the ANDRITZ AG Supervisory Board will recommend that Barbara Steger be elected as a new member at the Annual General Meeting. Alexander Isola will be replaced by her.

Alexander Isola, who served as cordial member of the ANDRITZ AG Supervisory Board since 2016, decided to leave his position following the next Annual General Meeting. The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of ANDRITZ AG expressed their gratitude to Alexander Isola for his remarkable contributions and mentorship more than nine years. Barbara Steger’s election will be proposed by The Supervisory Board effective from the end of the 2025 Annual General Meeting until the end of the 2028 Annual General Meeting, which determines the discharge for the business year.

Barbara Steger, a seasoned advocate and manager born in 1980, specializes in the industrial sector. The Viennese legal firm Schönherr Rechtsanwälte is where she began her work after completing her studies in law and commercial sciences. She joined the Engel Group, a multinational injection molding machine supplier, in 2013. From 2016 to 2023, she was the managing director of Ludwig Engel GmbH & Co KG. From 2020 to 2022, she chaired the supervisory boards of ENGEL Holding GmbH and ENGEL Austria GmbH. In addition to refining the company’s governance and legal framework, she was instrumental in creating its strategic orientation, which included its sustainability plan. From 2014 until 2022, she also served on Oberbank AG’s Supervisory Board and Legal Committee.

If approved, three of six ANDRITZ AG Supervisory Board members will be female. Additionally, the Board will propose re-electing Wolfgang Bernhard at the next meeting.
