Session I | Market

Among the speakers, Philipp Sprockhoff of European Panel Federation managing board will givean overview of the situation of the European wood-based panel industry, David Svensson, IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB will speak on “How IKEA sees the future demands on wood-based panels, both from a commercial and sustainability aspect?”

Session II | Resources

In this session, Dirk Notz from Universität Hamburg will focus on the effects of climate change

Session III | Artificial Intelligence

One noteworthy speak would be by Gregor Bernardy of Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH and Oren Yahav of Smartech Manewfacturing™ Technologies who will highlight on autonomous wood based panel lines based on AI and ML methods – from vision to reality.

Session IV | Recycling

Mark Irle of École Supérieure du Bois will be among the speakers who will share: A study of the presence of fibreboard in recovered wood in France.
