Vecoplan has been considered as one of the giant producers of biomass and shredding technology. We were delighted to have Mr. Patrick Pfeiffer, Area Sales Manager, Wood and Biomass of Vecoplan on the occassion of LIGNA. He enlighted us on shredding technology, their prime products related to wood biomass industry and more. Excerpts:

woodandpaneleurope Tell us about your expectation and participation from this show? How do you look at LIGNA as a platform to promote wood biomass products?
LIGNA for us is a very good platform to meet the professionals from wood business and to meet all the professionals from the wood industry and up to the biomass industry. So we can talk with them and show them our new products and have very nice chat with them.
woodandpaneleurope You have recently celebrated the launch of VHZ 1600 series this LIGNA. If you can brief us on that?
That’s a very interesting machine, so the launch of the VHZ 1600 is our new machine which have lot of throughput for example it has more than 80% more super standard emission upto 30% less energy consumption and it also presents our new industrial design.
woodandpaneleurope How has been the response for the first three days from your customers?
The response from our customers was great. We have a lot of contacts and also a lot of new contacts as well. Our existing customers and also new people have visited our booth. It was very great!
woodandpaneleurope What are the prime products you are exhibiting in LIGNA 2019?
The prime products on this LIGNA 2019 – are our shredding technology, the VHZ 1600 and also the small shredders and the chiippers but we also present to our customers our screening technology as we are the producer of this technology for the whole market, we showcase all the products which customers need to shred and transfer the biomass and wood shredding. And our theme in this LIGNA is ‘Booth in Motion’ so we brought this innovative concept at LIGNA this year.
