WPE : Could you please provide an overview of CANTISA and share what sets your company apart in the woodworking industry?
Raul Belloch : Cantisa is a Spanish company specializing in the manufacture of edgebanding for the furniture industry. It offers edgebanding in wood veneer, PVC, ABS, and other materials, with over 2,700 designs in stock, ready to complement any board on the market. The company is recognized for the quality of its products, excellent customer service, and efficient delivery, as well as its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
WPE : As sustainability now plays a significant role in woodworking industry. Can you tell us, what ‘Sustainability’ means to you? How do you implement the strategy efficiently when it comes to your innovations?
Raul Belloch : For Cantisa, sustainability starts with responsible use of resources, waste reduction, and the use of sustainable materials. Our wood veneers come from forests with sustainable management certification, and our thermoplastic products include recycled plastics. All our edgebanding meets high-quality standards, which extends the life of furniture and reduces end-of-life waste. Additionally, our production processes optimize resource use and minimize waste, applying principles of efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Raul Belloch : At Cantisa, we see digital printing as a strategic tool to adapt to changing market trends and the growing demand for product customization. We were the first edgebanding manufacturer in Spain to adopt this technology, which allowed us to stay ahead of industry needs. Digital printing enables us to shorten the development time for new edgebands, reduce waste during testing, offer higher levels of customization, improve design detail, and increase production flexibility—always with the goal of delivering greater value to our customers.
WPE : Could you provide insights into the edgebands Cantisa develops to match new board collections? How do you ensure the highest quality and faithful reproduction of designs and textures?

Our goal is to achieve perfect harmony in design, color, and texture. To ensure this, our specialized team carefully analyzes each board, applying advanced printing and texturing technologies to reproduce finishes with great accuracy.
