Packaging Days characterised by innovative cutting solutions
Over 400 professional visitors came to the cutting specialist Weinig Dimter at Illertissen for an update on innovations and new developments in the field of crate and pallet production.
The push-feed saw OptiCut S 60 with the new wFlex+ module for fully automated cutting to length and width in a single work step was one of the technical highlights. In the high-end range, Weinig Dimter presented a fully automated pallet production line. It enables customers to produce 360 pallets per hour, using no more than 2 or 3 employees.
Well-attended Theme Days at Weinig Grecon
Around 130 customers from all over Europe came to the WEINIG specialist for finger-jointing and jointing technology at Alfeld for an update on the latest developments in the laminated wood sector.
The high-performance class was a particular focus. An HS 3000, a Turbo S-3000 and a PowerJoint 15 that were about to be delivered could be experienced live. The new DKK through-feed press met with great interest. Managing Director Pascal Rénevier expects Weinig Grecon to gain increasing importance in the growing timber construction market.
