Dieffenbacher is going to demonstrate the highlights of 2017 on lightweight production at JEC in Paris from March 14 to 17.
Highlights of 2017:
• Fiberforge & Fibercon – the world’s fastest tape laying system and vacuum consolidation are the perfect couple. High volume production of lightweight components based on thermoplastic tapes has never been more cost-effective
• Sub preforms — dividing complex preforms into individual sub-preforms reduces material demand and level of complexity in production. The entire process — from manufacturing the sub preform via joining in the press to the finish part — is fully automatic.
• Wet molding process — the cost-effective alternative for high-load-bearing carbon fiber components, has convinced our customer BMW.
