UFP-Packaging

UFP Industrial has undergone a formal rebranding to become UFP Packaging, to better reflect its focus and business opportunities. UFP Packaging has grown significantly over the years, becoming a pioneer in designing and providing entire packaging solutions and a fast-growing business segment of UFP Industries. Currently, it offers entire packaging solutions including custom boxes, steel packaging, hard cases, on-site packaging, pallets, labels, corrugate, and much more to customers worldwide, ranging from agricultural to aerospace. The new name also refers to their vast capabilities, the company added. This new change is effective from February 1, 2023.

“We are growing our business in protective packaging materials significantly toward becoming a world leader in the industry, so it’s important to communicate our focus from the minute we’re introduced,” said UFP Packaging President Scott Worthington. “From protective packaging materials to pallets to custom structural packaging, the new name – UFP Packaging – lets the customer know who and what we are: a total packaging solutions supplier.”

“The new name also refers to our vast capabilities”
The company has devoted, cutting-edge internal testing facilities, including a massive I.S.T.A. and ASTM-certified testing lab in Georgia that can test large packages for compression, inclination and impact, rotating motion, and vibration for items weighing up to 50,000 lbs. Corrugated boxes, composite packaging, massive wood shipping crates, and pallets can all be tested in the company’s Michigan I.S.T.A. testing centre.

“UFP Industries grows and thrives on innovation, and nowhere is this more evident than in our global packaging business,” says CEO Matthew J. Missad. Our extensive range of products includes custom crates, steel packaging, hard cases, on-site packaging, pallets, labels, corrugate, and much more.

As said by UFP Packaging President Scott Worthington, the new name clearly indicates to customers who and what they are: a supplier of entire packaging solutions, including protective packaging materials, pallets, and unique structural packaging.
