At the 2026 International Builders’ Show (IBS), Trex is unveiling an impressive exhibit that embodies its dedication to performance, sustainability, and beauty. The showcase promises to deliver a bold, immersive experience that not only highlights the brand’s groundbreaking products but also sets the stage for the future of outdoor living.
A Legacy of Innovation
Founded in 1996, Trex transformed the decking industry by introducing a revolutionary wood-alternative decking material that eliminated the environmental drawbacks of traditional wood products. This innovation continues to drive the company’s success today. “Thirty years ago, our founders set out to challenge the status quo and build something better,” said Adam Zambanini, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Trex Company. “That same mindset continues to drive everything we do today. We are excited to return to IBS with a bold and extensive showcase of performance-engineered products that continue to push boundaries and raise the bar for the industry.”

Trex’s exhibit at IBS 2026 is designed to do more than just display products—it’s an invitation to step into the future of outdoor living. The 50’ x 60’ booth, with its fluid, dynamic layout, creates an engaging, high-energy environment where attendees can explore Trex’s full range of innovations. The space is thoughtfully curated to guide visitors from inspiration to education, featuring a series of immersive, purpose-built environments that allow attendees to experience Trex’s cutting-edge products in action.
Highlighting Performance and Durability
At the heart of Trex’s exhibit is the Performance Lab, a hands-on, technology-forward space where attendees can experience the company’s groundbreaking advancements firsthand. Here, visitors will discover Trex’s proprietary SunComfortable™ heat-mitigating technology, fire-resistant boards, and marine-grade decking solutions, all engineered for durability and performance. “We wanted a booth that would stop people in their tracks and immediately communicate what Trex stands for,” said Jodi Lee, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Trex. “Every element of the space is designed to highlight how our products perform in real-world conditions.”
The exhibit will also feature a dedicated marine demonstration area, underscoring Trex’s leadership in waterfront applications. This area will showcase Trex’s submersible decking solutions, further reinforcing the brand’s ability to perform in even the toughest environments.
New Product Zone at IBS
In addition to the main exhibit, Trex’s Select® decking will be highlighted in the IBS New Product Zone. The Select line, known for its advanced SunComfortable™ technology, offers one of the most innovative mid-priced composite decking options on the market. This technology helps keep surfaces cooler underfoot by reflecting sunlight, ensuring superior performance without sacrificing durability.
Celebrating Three Decades of Innovation
Trex’s booth will not only showcase products but also celebrate the company’s remarkable journey over the past 30 years. On the first day of the show, Zambanini and CEO Bryan Fairbanks will host a reception to officially commemorate the company’s anniversary. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Instagram influencer Darren Keefe, known as “The Dancing Carpenter,” who will share his personal experiences working with Trex products.
“Throughout 2026, you’ll see Trex showing up in new and unexpected places,” said Lee. “Everything we’re doing is designed to drive awareness and preference for our products and ultimately help our channel partners grow their businesses.”
