Titus to showcase new hardware innovations at KBB Birmingham 2026

Titus will present its latest furniture hardware innovations at KBB Birmingham 2026, taking place from 1 to 4 March. The company will exhibit on Stand R82, where visitors will be able to view live demonstrations and speak directly with technical specialists.

Throughout the four-day event, Titus will focus on practical solutions for furniture manufacturers. The emphasis will remain on hardware that is quicker to fit, easier to adjust and reliable in everyday use. Demonstrations will be run continuously. Technical guidance will be provided on specification and production requirements.

Two new drawer systems will be introduced at the show. These additions expand the existing Titus drawer portfolio.

Vitek is an ultra-thin metal drawer system designed for modern furniture. It is intended for kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, wardrobes and vanity units. The system uses a 3D locking device that allows accurate alignment of the drawer front. Both full-extension and single-extension runners are available.

The locking device makes installation straightforward. The drawer can be fitted onto the runners and removed again when required. This design supports precise adjustment during assembly.

Trax-V is a modular range of undermount runners for wooden drawers. It is developed for everyday furniture applications. The system incorporates Titus ART damping, delivering smooth and quiet soft-close performance.

Trax-V supports loads of up to 40 kilograms. It is available in both single and full-extension versions. The modular design allows flexibility across different furniture ranges.

The T-type hinge family will also be displayed. Several recent additions will be presented on the stand.

T-type PressTo features tool-free cup fixing. An audible click-lock confirms correct installation. The design helps reduce assembly time. When used with the Titus 3Way snap-on mounting system, hinge-to-plate mounting can be adjusted in three directions. This is particularly useful for tall cabinets requiring multiple hinges.

T-type Noir will also be shown. It features a matt black finish developed for modern kitchens and furniture. The finish is subtle and non-reflective. It helps maintain a clean and understated appearance. Enhanced corrosion resistance and durability are also provided.

Another hinge on display will be the T-type i170 with integrated damper. It offers a 170-degree opening angle. There is zero door protrusion at 90 degrees. This makes it suitable for cabinets with inner drawers or pull-out systems.

All T-type hinges use Titus Confident Close soft-close action. Late-start deceleration is applied. A quiet and controlled closing movement is achieved.

Connector systems will form another key part of the display. Solutions will be shown for a wide range of cabinet and furniture applications.

System 6.2 square-shaped connectors will be presented. These provide stable joints with a modern appearance. They are suited to modular closets, wardrobes and shelving systems.

The System 5 cam and dowel range will also be featured. This includes Klix and Quickfit technologies. These fittings are designed for cabinet assembly.

The Quickfit TL5 “Full Metal Jacket” dowel will be demonstrated. It is designed to lock securely in 5 mm drilled holes. Strong joints can be formed in MDF, chipboard and solid wood. No additional wooden dowels are required.

Drawer adjustment solutions will also be highlighted. Tekform Slimline+ will be demonstrated with a focus on faster installation.

Slimline+ offers 3D front adjustment. Colour-coded panels help align drawer fronts accurately. Adjustments are made from the front of the cabinet. Rear access is not needed. The system uses Titus ART damping for smooth soft-close performance. Compatibility with Tacto 2.0 push-to-open is also supported.

Soft-close systems for sliding doors will be presented through Slidix. These systems are designed for applications ranging from wardrobe doors to interior sliding doors.

Live demonstrations will run throughout the exhibition. These sessions will focus on accurate adjustment and faster fitting. The Titus technical team will also explain Consumer Assembly Friendliness and its role in production and installation. Shorter assembly times and fewer fitting issues were highlighted as key benefits.

Phil Beddoe, Managing Director of Titus UK, stated that KBB Birmingham offers a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how engineering expertise addresses real manufacturing challenges. He added that the company is looking forward to showcasing both enhanced existing ranges and new product launches.

Titus aims to support furniture manufacturers with solutions that improve consistency, efficiency and end-user experience. The Birmingham event will provide a hands-on opportunity to see these technologies in action.
