The WEINMANN Treff 2024, held in the production halls of the St. Johann site, once again captivated visitors with its innovative approach to timber construction. This year’s event attracted approximately 400 guests from over 20 countries, demonstrating the growing interest and potential within the timber construction industry, despite market challenges.
The in-house exhibition, hosted in the Swabian Alb, highlighted WEINMANN’s role as a comprehensive partner for the industry, offering cutting-edge machine technologies alongside a suite of services extending far beyond production. The event was held under the motto “From A for sketching to Z for future”, allowing attendees to explore the evolving world of timber house construction. Expert presentations during the two-day event drew significant participation, sparking lively discussions among carpenters, timber builders, and partner companies. Visitors were treated to an extensive display of WEINMANN’s offerings, ranging from joinery solutions to robotics systems.
A Holistic Approach to Timber Construction
WEINMANN showcased its commitment to supporting carpenters and woodworkers throughout their professional journey. From consulting and developing tailored production concepts to employee training and future-proofing businesses, the company demonstrated its role as a dependable industry partner. Experts from the WEINMANN Academy and SCHULER Consulting provided insights into the comprehensive training and consulting services available to customers.
The event’s trade exhibition featured 25 exhibitors, showcasing the latest innovations in software, fastening devices, tools and assembly, packaging solutions, wood construction products, extraction systems, insulation solutions, and transport systems. New additions this year included exhibitors specialising in doors, windows, and roller shutter systems.
Inspirational Opportunities Abound
Visitors to WEINMANN Treff 2024 were offered unique opportunities to see WEINMANN solutions in action. Guided Inspiration Tours allowed attendees to explore industrial and craft production setups at reference customer sites, providing real-world insights into timber construction solutions. These tours, held before and during the event, enriched the trade fair experience.
The week concluded with a user meeting on 15 November 2024 at the WEINMANN Experience Centre. Around 40 participants engaged in discussions across four interactive stations, exchanging ideas with WEINMANN experts and industry peers on the latest technological advancements.
